Breastfeeding isn’t always easy and in many cases is a skill that you need to work at and that brings plenty of challenges along the way. As a certified lactation counselor, I offer:

• Home visit consultations (great for when you bring the baby home and are experiencing difficulties or for first time parents)
• Virtual consultations (great for when you are still in the hospital and you need help quick, for parents that are live afar or if you have a few questions that can easily be handled over a video chat)
• A private 1-on-1 breastfeeding preparation class that prepares you for the realities of breastfeeding! Great for expecting parents who are planning to breastfeed or for parents who have had previous feeding challenges!

You get home with your new baby and the many questions and concerns start to pile up.

A home visit allows us to sit down and talk about everything that is going on, to observe a full feeding session and to provide you with non-judgmental, evidence-based information in a relaxed and calm manner in the safety of your own home. A home visit usually takes between 90 mins – 2 hours. Following your home visit (and included in the fee) is 2 weeks of email or text support.

A video or telephone consultation is a great option if you live too far away for a home visit – or if you are still in the hospital after giving birth. It is an easy way to  quickly get much needed information and support that might just save your breastfeeding journey. I am available for video/telephone consultations 7 days a week at a time that suits you.
